Getting Started
LuxeConvert is designed to be simple. No installation required - just download and run. Here's how to get started in under 60 seconds:
1 Download
Get LuxeConvert from the website. It's a single file - no installer needed.
2 Run
Double-click to open. Windows might show a security warning - click "Run Anyway".
3 Convert
Drag and drop your images. Select output format. Click Convert. Done.
Keep LuxeConvert on your desktop or in a folder you use often. It works completely offline.
Converting Images
Converting images is as simple as drag and drop:
- Add images - Drag files into the window, or click "Add Files"
- Choose format - Select your output format (WebP, JPG, PNG, etc.)
- Set quality - Adjust the quality slider if needed (default is 85%)
- Convert - Click the Convert button and wait a few seconds
- Find files - Converted images appear in the same folder as originals
WebP files are typically 30-50% smaller than JPG at the same quality. Perfect for websites!

LuxeConvert can process 100+ images in under 10 seconds on most computers.
Quality Settings
The quality slider controls the balance between file size and image quality:
- 90-100% - Best quality, larger files. Use for printing.
- 80-89% - Great quality, good compression. Recommended for most uses.
- 60-79% - Good quality, smaller files. Great for web.
- Below 60% - Visible quality loss. Use only when file size is critical.
The default of 85% works well for most situations - you usually won't see any difference from the original.
Troubleshooting
"Windows protected your PC" message
This is normal for new software. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". LuxeConvert is safe - it works completely offline and doesn't access the internet.
Converted files not appearing
Check the same folder as your original images. Converted files are saved there by default with "_converted" added to the filename.
HEIC files not working
HEIC support requires the Professional tier. Free users can convert PNG, JPG, and WebP files.
